A day in the field from the perspective of a
first-time-ever foxhunter:
"...Speaking of excellent adventures I wanted to thank you again for inviting me to hunt with the Chagrin Valley Hunt last Thursday. I certainly didn’t expect it to be such a wild and wooly ride! Good thing I have an OTTB! I think his eyes are still bugging out of his head (note your photo depicting horse in amazed state). It was great fun to hear Tally Ho straight out of the gate (as they say in racehorse lingo) and the fun kept up all morning. Although we didn’t see the three fox sightings, or the coyotes, I have to say it is not because we were not on the move -- we seemed to cover a lot of ground QUICKLY!! Here I thought eventers had the lock on adrenalin. I stand corrected. And I have to admit that watching the huntsman with the hounds was absolutely awesome. I’d do it again in a heartbeat!
